MOSCOW, Aug 28 (PRIME) -- Social network Instagram experienced a failure late on Monday in several regions of Russia, as well as in the U.S. and in Europe, according to data of Down Detector, a resource providing a real-time overview of issues and outages with all kinds of services.
The issue took place at about 8 p.m. Moscow time.
According to Down Detector, 58% of complaints of users were about a failure of news feed update, and 24% had problems with the web version.
Complaints were mostly from Moscow, St. Petersburg, as well as from northeastern states of the U.S., the Netherlands, and the U.K.
